HISTORY OF THE SOCIOCULTURAL TRANSFORMATIONS IN UKRAINE

Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the features of the cultural and historical processes in Ukraine in the 80 -90 years of the twentieth century. Cultural processes play an important role in the formation of Ukrainian history. Socio-cultural space in Ukraine has a specific characteristics associated with the natural, social, ethnic, geopolitical, religious aspects. History of Ukrainian statehood directly influenced the development of cultural processes. Artists, scientists, thinkers formed the cultural values in the dynamic conditions of the restoration of independence of Ukraine. The study of cultural processes in Ukraine in 80-90 years of the twentieth century is in the context of globalization trends and identification of world culture. We trace the features of formation of cultural values in specific historical conditions. No exception is Ukrainian and development of cultural-historical paradigm of modernity. Our intelligence provides analysis of the major components of the cultural development of the Ukrainian people in historical realities of the post-totalitarian regime.
