Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to cover the history of philosophy and science in the context of dominant ideological paradigms during civilization development. Epistemological, axiological, and ethical aspects of the cultural and historical epoch influenced the quality of scientific achievements and the depth of philosophical research. In its turn, the scientific and philosophical components led to the transformation and change of paradigms of social development. The specificity of the idea is determined by an integrated approach to the application of research methods, among which: philosophical, general scientific and specific methods. The dialectical approach in the study of the history of philosophy (fully applied by G. Hegel) allowed revealing the essence of historical realities in terms of comprehension of their influence on society and personality. The concept of value potentials allowed revealing the axiological aspects of historical, philosophical, historical, and scientific discourse. Hermeneutic method contributed to the substantiation of the essence of history in the philosophical and scientific section. Worldview paradigms coincided in part with the development of cultural and historical epochs. Philosophical and scientific achievements harmoniously reinforced the teachings of world outlook. However, for researchers, not only the period of development of a separate era are important, but also the moments of philosophical breakthroughs. It was then that the values, cognitive and ethical aspects of philosophy and science were clearly expressed, which led to the transition to a qualitatively new level of development of society. Scientific novelty. The components of cardinal transformation are most valuable in the construction of philosophical principles and scientific theories, because they contain novelty, supported by the need for its implementation. The history of philosophy and science is a complex and, at the same time, an interesting and necessary component in the study of the civilization development of mankind. Without awareness of the driving forces that cause radical changes and the transition to a qualitatively new level of development of man and society, it is difficult to determine the guidelines that would normalize these transformations. Conclusions. In order to further harmonious development of civilization, a clear and understandable concept of historical, philosophical, and scientific interpretation, based on which value guidelines will emerge is needed.
