Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the quantitative, historical, theoretical and methodological features of the Lithuanian historiography of philosophy. A comprehensive methodological analysis of the Lithuanian historiography of philosophy does not exist. The level of methodological reflection on the Lithuanian historiography of philosophy is insufficient; as a rule, its methodological explications are too general, irresponsibly formulated, and insufficiently informed about methodological structure of inquiry. In this field, four strategies of historical interpretation of philosophy function: contextualistic, mechanicistic, organicistic, and formistic. They encompass all the major methodologies used in the world.
