Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to highlight the curricular innovations from the continuous training programs for preschool and primary school teachers from Romania. The first section of the chapter will present the context of the educational reform generating transformations at the level of teachers’ continuous training programs. The second section presents and describes the main programs implemented in Romania, aimed at the continuous training of teachers in applying curricular innovations. Continuous training programs have significant implications in terms of the quality of teachers’ training through the curricular resources created and, especially, in terms of educational policy, through the elaboration of professional standards for teachers from preschool and primary education.
