Summary/Abstract: Artykuł dotyczy pracy nauczyciela-wychowawcy. Wywiera on wpływ na podopiecznych. Podejmuje działania, które są przez nich obserwowane i mają znaczenie w ich rozwoju. Wielką rolę ma jego stosunek do pracy wychowawczej. Poziom etyki nauczyciela obrazuje jego postawę jako pedagoga i pozwala mu na zrozumienie istoty pracy jako wychowawca.;The paper deals with the work of a teacher – educator. S/He influences the pupils, undertakes actions which are observed by them and affect their development. Special importance must be attached to the attitude towards the job. The ethical level of a teacher illustrates his/ her demeanour as a pedagogue and makes it possible to understand the essence of the educator’s job.
