Summary/Abstract: The knowledge related to the cultural treasure of the Republic of Moldova and the ways of enhancing it is little known among economic agents, actors of political life, of social and scientific activity, as well as of the cultural one. We believe that research in the field of cultural heritage and the results obtained would have a greater impact and would contribute more optimally to the development of society if information technologies were to be used broader in the given field. They would also contribute to widespread dissemination and distribution in the social environment, which would provide greater impact. The creation of the National Scientific Platform for the Enhancement of the Cultural Patrimony of the Republic of Moldova would serve as an impetus and support for research in the field of cultural heritage and would provide the theoretical and methodological support accessible free of charge to the economic agents and other institutions, organizations and persons interested in valorizing the cultural patrimony. Through the National Scientific Platform in the sense of the proposed project, we mean the implementation of “Digital Humanities” in the research and valorization of the cultural heritage of the Republic of Moldova.
