Moralizing Register in the Media Discourse

Summary/Abstract: The article studies the language means as signals of the presence of a moralizing register in the everyday speech and in the media texts. The interpretation of the media text depends on recognizing and reading the connotative meanings of these language means. The moralizing register is highly evaluative register which was analyzed by objective grammatical, lexical and syntaxes linguistic means expressing the intention of the author on one side and by their recognition and evaluation on the part of the recipients on the other side.
