Summary/Abstract: The Prague manuscript German–Lithuanian dictionary started circulating in scientific sources after Ilya Lemeshkin spoke about it five years ago. The researchers of the dictionary were first of all interested in the manuscript text itself, the authorship which was deducted from the donation inscription in the flyleaf of the manuscript where the author was denoted as ‘Hacke’. The inscription also presupposes that the manuscript of the dictionary might have belonged to the famous professor of the University of Halle Siegmund Jakob Baumgarten.
