Summary/Abstract: Overtime work is a problem that affects workers in general and normalized by the legislator in Art. 151-15112 of the Labor Code, the universality of this issue of syntax for the analysis of normative norms of this matter. This article reviews the provisions of the Labor Code on how to compensate employees for overtime work. In general terms, the concept of overtime work has been presented, and the main content of the article focuses on detailed discussion of two alternative methods of compensation - monetary, in addition to overtime and non-monetary compensation, in the form of giving the employee a free time. The category of managers is omitted because they perform overtime on the basis of other conditions and, in principle, without the right to remuneration and allowance for the work.
