Monthly Income as a Determinant of Life Quality at the Example of Polish Families From Podkarpackie Province

Summary/Abstract: The amount of family income is a factor conditioning the size and structure of consumption. It is also a determinant of a family’s behavior, as it enables to satisfy the basic human needs and it is an essential element of the quality of each family’s life. Income also affects the relationship between both spouses, parents and children. Household budget also generates development and education of children, it allows or restricts their perspectives for the future. Difficult financial situation of Polish families imposes limitations on the basic consumption needs.
