The Attempt to Assessment of the Potential of Economic Intelligence and Counterintelligence with in Polish SME Sector Enterprises

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the article is the attempt to point out the foundation and evaluation possibilities of potential in regards to intelligence and counterintelligence tools within enterprises of SME sector. This potential seems to be crucial for current well functioning. The article includes a short characteristic of the importance of Polish SME sector in the economy. The main factors for success in the enterprise activity have also been pointed out in the description. The most important factors are economic intelligence and counterintelligence. The network connections between enterprises were indicated as natural environment for the possibility to implement intelligence’s and counterintelligence’s concepts. Many different threats of the enterprises operating have also been noticed, with the indication to all possible benefits of minimizing threats by using solutions of economic intelligence and counterintelligence. The last part of the article includes the identification of areas and activities that are essential for effective completion of tasks of economic intelligence and counterintelligence within SME.
