Summary/Abstract: This paper describes practical solutions of the management functions for governmental intelligence authorities, including especially Polish the Foreign Intelligence Agency. International intelligence co-operation and the general rules of recruitment processes at secret services have been also presented. Others intelligence problems within area of risk management, external expert co-operations and an accessibility to human intelligence sources have been exposed. Author also introduces some similarities between governmental intelligence management and business intelligence in enterprises.
