Summary/Abstract: The demographic development of Sekuric, the largest village of Levca in the 20th century, has been analyzed. From its origin, Sekuric had the periods of economic prosperity and stagnation in dependence on the historical, socio-economic and political causes. From the 1960s, the demographic stagnation of Sekuric and other villages of Levac have become more and more expressive and unfavorable which is the consequence of neglected development of villages and agriculture in general.
