Summary/Abstract: Human mobility has always been a point of reflection for many research studies, drifted as social phenomenon in the sciences of society. In order to detect the aspects of mobility we had to stress the ‘migration’ term and its key components: emigration and immigration. This written thesis is intended to underline those items, a certain inventory of attributes and challenges created by internal and cross-border migration. This data analysis concludes with basic facts and statistics of migratory flows in Catalonia.
