Summary/Abstract: In our country, extensive studies are carried out against work accidents and occupational diseases that cause loss of goods and lives. Recent studies show that it is not possible to provide just health and safety with laws and regulations. The laws are only in writing unless employees are conscious. Being conscious of all employees is one of the most important issues in creating security culture. The Law No. 6331 on occupational health and safety obliges employers to employ a work safety expert or obtain job security support. The private sector has been forced to work in the area of work safety since 2012. In the public sector, these studies will start in 2020. In this study, 50 face-to-face semi-structured questionnaires were administered to 50 civil servants and 50 private sector employees and the results were evaluated.
