THE CARRIAGE OF DANGEROUS GOODS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION

Summary/Abstract: As a result of the development of the world’s economy and technical progress of this century, the transport of dangerous goods grew as well. The international transport of dangerous goods is covered by the international agreements. In view of the protection of unwanted events that may occur, a series of severe, technical and legislative measures, to be applied in domestic and international traffic have been drawn up on the UN. This paper addresses the classification of goods and the legislation that provides transportation at national and international levels.
