Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the functioning of the real estate market in the Old Warsaw in the second quarter of the 15th Century. The source base was the oldest surviving book of assessors from the years 1427–1453, where have been found 141 records of purchase/sale houses, tenements, gardens and lands. In analyzes was included elements such as the dynamics of records, their value, types and prices of real estate, duration of contracts, seasonality of records, the installment system, ways of securing contracts, social and occupational structure of buyers and sellers. Observations showed low dynamics of market (average 5 entries per year), while also the strong growth after 1440s.
