Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of the analyses of the loan market in Old Warsaw in the second quarter of the 15th century. The research is based on source material from the oldest of the preserved municipal court records from the years 1427–1453. The compiled data is presented with the use of a number of graphs and tables. The analysis focuses on such characteristics of the loan market as: frequency of entries, their value, duration of agreements, seasonality of entries, functioning of the instalment system, and types of collateral.
