Professional pedagogical education as presented in the research of Ukrainian scientists

Summary/Abstract: The author of this article analyses documents on education development in Ukraine, namely: State National Program “Education” (“Ukraine of the 21st Century”),“National Doctrine of Ukraine’s Education Development”, and the works of Ukrainian scientists, such as: I. Ziaziun, V. Kremen, N. Nychkalo, L. Pukhovska, H. Dudka, andV. Onyshchenko, concerning problems of professional education and pedagogy of labor. The author presents her own interpretation of the concept of ‘pedagogy of labor’as a creative usage of a set of scientific and theoretical knowledge and skills obtained by a specialist during his/her training course and teaching practice, as well as his/her adaptation to the professional activity and improvement of professional competences in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market.The principles of professional pedagogy and pedagogy of labor are highlighted as follows: anticipatory training; continuity; fundamentalization; integration of professional education, science and industry; equal access of various categories of the population to qualitative professional training; diversification; flexibility of professional training in accordance with restructuring and development of the economy and employment in regions; unity of professional training and education; ecological thinking; variation; individualization; and differentiation. Other considerations include the latest requirements in pedagogical training performed by experts.
