Summary/Abstract: In the modern NATO member armies, military individual career planning during peacetimeis a topical issue, aimed at increasing professional performance both at tindividual and organizational levels. Individual career management has become, at organizational level, an important component of human resource management. We claim that the functionality of individual career management in the Romanian Army is based on the observance of some principles.
