Summary/Abstract: The necessity of providing individual assistance in mathematics to children with social pedagogical problems in recent years markedly increases. This is a problem of the social pedagogical theory and practice, which has specific psychological, didactic, psycho-physiological, private methodological and pedagogical social dimensions. The study examines the main components of the methodical system for individual help – purpose, tasks, content, tools, methods and forms. The consideration of the specific assist in mathematics as a methodical system will improve the pedagogues` work in organizing self-training in mathematics. The implementation of the methodological system in the practice will help to provide qualified individual help in mathematics to children with social pedagogical problems.
