Summary/Abstract: The application of the latest information technologies is a lasting trend in the practice of modern primary education. This is particularly relevant for mathematics education and is mainly explained by the very nature of mathematical knowledge - uniquely defined, algorithmic, precise language, etc., which makes them suitable for interpretation with the means of information technology. Innovative technologies diversify traditional teaching methods, make pupils’ thinking wider, diversify training and give the ability to turn boring learning into interesting. This attracts the attention of all students because they are actively involved; a new organization of the learning environment is achieved; instead of a passive listening of the information from the teacher, it is possible for the pupils to be personally involved, to concentrate on and use their own knowledge.
