On some Questions of Folklore Research in our Country

Summary/Abstract: To look critically at what was done by our ancestors, to study the sources, to save valuable documents about popular culture, to further individual research and thematic research, to ask the folklore issue and many other tasks besides dealing with theoretical problems - such as: For example, the definition of the actual field of work of folklore and its sub-branches or the branches of knowledge with ethnographic character - all these research questions will also form a major task for our Sibiu based publication, which is dedicated - as the first in our Fatherland – especially to questions of mutual influence of The Saxon, the Romanian and the folklore of cohabiting nationalities. It is already expressed by their title "Research on folklore and geography" to deal with the most urgent contemporary issues of this area of responsibility.
