Summary/Abstract: Beside conveying knowledge by the instructor / trainer and acquiring this knowledge by the trainees, evaluation is a fundamental operational component of the military education and training process. It is both a regulating and self-regulating tool through the adopted training system.Nowadays there is constant concern for ensuring the principle of training compatibility with the modern armed forces in NATO, by selecting the similar efficient training methods and teaching ways. Also, evaluation is considered a highly significant stage in the training process as it has the potential to correct or improve it. Therefore, the present paper is an analysis leading to the most accessible and efficient ways of performance assessment in the communications and IT domain, completed with suggestions for use in institutionalized training.
