INTERNATIONAL POLICIES AND STRATEGIES OF COMBATING TRANSNATIONAL ORGANIZED CRIME

Summary/Abstract: The author of the article analyzes EU and UN international strategies of combating transnational organized crime within the process of globalization. This paper make it clear that the important question of transnational organized crime is of crucial importance for the European states.In the analysis performed, the author shows the legal instruments (treaties,conventions etc.) stipulated in the official documents issued by these international organizations for combating transnational organized crime and the ways of sanctioning transnational criminal activities. Romania is fullz committed to preparing a good and solid legislative package on the policies of combating transnational organized crime.
