Summary/Abstract: Vocabulary and script of blogs are key issues which currently determine new trends in linguistic behavior of people. The mixture of colloquial, familiar forms with elevate ones is the basic feature of the vocabulary of blogs and the inventive forms created by bloggers, represents a material worthy to be studied. Computer language, dominated by the English vocabulary, has induced spelling changes and brought new semantic and syntactic values to the colloquial discourse, with tendencies of entering the other levels of the language as well. The study of blogs highlights nonspecific lexical and graphicalaspects of the Romanian language and represents barometers for recording linguistic changes related to word formation, changes in meaning, the lexical borrowing, the interference registers, etc.
