Summary/Abstract: Globalization is inclined to bring down the frontiers geographically, economically and culturally. Firms today are to adopt management methods of HR that recognize the cultural dimensions as a factor of facility, cohesion, success and respect of diversity. Knowledge of the national culture allows avoiding universalization, and allows adapting management systems to the cultural context which make firms develop harmoniously in their environment. In this article, we shall be inspired by several empirical researches implemented by G. Hofstede who confirmed the existing influence of the national cultural environment on firms’ management practices. We shall therefore carry out a study of the Moroccan cultural context through Hofstede’s cultural dimensions, namely: hierarchical distance, uncertainty control, individualism or collectivism as well as the masculinity or femininity trend.
