Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this article is to analyze the enforcement proceedings before the courts of the Republic of Serbia, from the perspective of the requirements of Art. 6, para. 1 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The authors also call attention to the significant backlog the European Court of Human Rights is facing. The authors attempt to identify the most significant problems in the matter of enforcement in Serbia, and offer several proposals on how to deal with these problems.
