Summary/Abstract: This text speaks about cinematic art of Bertolucci, who is considered to be the last Emperor of the post-revolutionary world. Herein are treated films as: Before the Revolution, The Conformist, Last Tango in Paris, The Last Emperor,Stealing Beauty, Little Buddha etc. being seen as works that preserves the authentic Bertolucian aesthetic, that harmonizes personality with culture. Thus, films treated here are seen as works that turns the reality into symbolic images, leading to an universal generalization which is the aim of all arts.
