Summary/Abstract: Decision making process demands research that leads to obtain better knowledge of a studied phenomenon. This activity also includes obtaining opinions of further beneficiaries. A survey is the easiest and most common way of gathering information on a explored subject. That is why it became the most popular method in research activities. Questionnaire form structure, target respondent group or a form of proceeding the survey have already been widely described in literature. It is often assumed that survey data are reliable and can be easily used for further research procedure, which leads to provide inputs for decision-making. Research described in the article outputs the issue of low survey data credibility. The depreciation of this problem may result in wrong decisions, based on research results, which were incorrect because of a low quality input data. It is recommended to search for the alternatives in data collection methods. Data source should be more human-factor independent, to provide high quality decision-making input.
