Summary/Abstract: Globalization has caused to a lot of change in the organizational structure depending on the multidirectional socio-economic change that affecting the working life and thus the quality of employees has also changed. In a highly competitive environment, different career paths and approach has been effected to direct employees’ decisions and expectations for the future. According to various authors, this career approach has been classified as classical (traditional) and contemporary (unlimited, flexible, organizational/double digits, portfolio, behavioral/network type, stable, spiral, team, multifaceted, global). Along with the generational differences, it has been transition from traditional career approach to new career approach and career models began to gain unlimited quality. Therefore each generation has been adopted different career approach. The aim of this study is to relate generations with the career approach. In this context, fixed comparing method which is one of the qualitative reserarch method, is used. Thus, it has been showed that different generation has been adopted different career approach in the time.
