Globalization as a factor of academic mobility processes expanding

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the phenomenon of globalization which is comprehended as an important factor of academic mobility ideas expansion and implementation in the higher education sphere. The essence of some notions of higher education discourse («globalization», «education globalization», «internationalization») is also analyzed. The thesis concerning the need of deep theoretical researchers in the sphere of higher education modernization is substantiated standing on a position that globalization is a determinant of the series of complicated social phenomena such as academic mobility one. It is underlined that methodological approaches of social philosophy and philosophy of education have the heuristic potential for substantiation of reforms in the sphere of higher education. The mentioned methodology is able to understand specific character of Ukraine as “transit state”.
