Improvement of innovation process in industrial enterprises – research results

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the assessment of the effects of the process innovation improvement in the context of the innovation level and obtained competitive advantage. The results of process innovation were compared with the following types of process improvement: strategic, operational, evolutionary and radical. Improvement of innovation process correlates with the level of innovativness and achieved competitive advantage. The presented research results refer to a group of medium and large Polish industrial companies belonging to the sectors of low, medium and high technology. The study covered the years 2012-2014. A total of 92 responses were obtained.
