Impact of social capital on the development of territory and enterprises’ functioning

Summary/Abstract: Territorially-oriented approach to cohesion policy is characterized by a better use of territorial resources and specialization. Both theoretical achievements, as well as empirical studies demonstrate the positive impact of territorial factors on enterprises’ development. The aim of the article is to discuss the relationship between the territory and the business sector through the discussion on the basis of theoretical and empirical findings.
