Summary/Abstract: The article refers to the issues linked with the assessment of development dynamics of the Central Europe regions in the contexts of development tendencies differences identification. The aim of the paper is on the one hand the empirical verification of basic dimension of economic regional resilience, i.e. GDP indicator and on the other, the attempt to explain significant differences in economic development dynamics of the Central Europe regions in the light of hybridization concept. The conclusions drawn from preliminary analysis carried out for the Central Europe regions seem to impair widely recognized relations referring to development dynamics, according to which bigger regions having higher rank and higher population density are characterized by higher socio-economic development dynamics. This kind of inconsistency may suggest the emergence of new hybrid models of development resulting from the co-existence of neoliberal capitalism mechanisms, post socialist legacy and globalization.
