Differences in quality of life in rural communities of Lodzkie region)

Summary/Abstract: The uneven development of rural areas in Poland is manifested among other things in the existence of a big disproportion in the level and conditions of functioning of territorial systems as well as a sense of the quality of life of their inhabitants. The aim of the paper is to answer the question whether differences in the objective dimension of the quality of life of local systems are similar to the differences in the level of its subjective perception of the residents. Presented analyses incline to give a positive answer to this question. This indicates the significance of the environmental context of the development of the wellbeing of individuals and all communities.
