Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the scenography of K. Malevich to the M. Matyushin’s opera "Victory over the Sun", which today is a valuable material for the development of modern clothing collections. Costumes and scenery, which became the prototype of new forms, color compounds, stylistic transformation of fashion design, are analyzed. It revealed the importance of the avant-garde ideas of K. Malevich, the constant reference to which acquired value trends supported by leading fashion designers of the XX–XXI century.
