Summary/Abstract: The concept of power has long been debated by most academic fields, be it sociology, political science or international politics. The main goal of the political life, no matter if we talk about the national or international environment, has always been to pursue, gain and maintain the political power. In international relations, power is at the same time, an end in itself and a means of achieving other objectives.
