Summary/Abstract: In the article I introduced British attitude towards Poland since Peace Conference in Paris, which commenced its proceedings 18th January 1919 until 15th March 1923, when Polish eastern borders where recognized. My reasoning has been chronologically divided into seven parts, which is the best way to depict British stance towards Poland within first years of Polish retrieved independence. In order to outline the parts I used the following events: Peace Conference in Paris; The issue of Śląsk Cieszyński; Polish–Bolshevik war; Lithuanian issue; Upper Silesia, Warmia, Mazury and Powiśle polls; conference in Genua; recognition of Polish eastern border. In the herein work I answered a following questions – why Poland was not very popular in Britain and whether there were any circumstances which would influence the British unfavourable approach.
