Summary/Abstract: The cinematographic film, mainly the historical one, is without a doubt a historical document worth taking into consideration especially by the totalitarian regimes that are constantly looking for a good image. The use of the historical cinematographic film to support historiographical and political positions during the years of the totalitarian communist regime is not a surprising fact, especially since similar phenomena are present in other European totalitarian countries of the 20th century.
