Summary/Abstract: The dramatic text should become an invaluable resource in the process of teaching French as foreign language because it offers the possibility of enhancing the learners’ communication skills. The article analyses various interactive techniques while working with Eugene Ionesco’s play “The Bald Soprano”. The suggested activities are designed for students whose level of French is either intermediate or advanced. Thus, the students will not only improve their communication skills but will also discover the essence of absurd in the given dramatic text, which will boost their creativity and critical thinking.
