Protection of cultural values in the investment process – legal analysis

Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is a legal analysis of the protection of cultural values in investment processes. Due to a lot of dimensions of this issue, legislation has to refer to all of them: the conservation of monuments, the conservation of nature and the landscape and the spatial planning. Appropriate legal instruments must refer to all these fields of the regulation. The international law in numerous documents is finding it, especially an UNESCO. Moreover, the public participation in decision-making processes is equally significant.
