Summary/Abstract: Most of the international community perceived the Iranian Nuclear Deal as one of the key events in the process of building peace and stability in the Middle East. Although negotiations (in various formats) lasted for years, reaching an agreement was only possible after the firm resolve of the two key players, the United States and Iran, to enter into the negotiation process with honest intentions, and with the understanding that an agreement is possible only if it is based on the basic rule of each negotiation process – Give to take. The negotiation of the Agreement was burdened by decades of conflict and tension in relations between key actors. An additional problem was the conservative elites in Iran and the US and US Middle East partners, primarily Israel and Saudi Arabia, who used all the resources to prevent the adoption of the Agreement. In spite of everything, the Agreement was reached and began to apply on January 16th 2016. However, the arrival of Donald Trump as US President, one of the greatest advocates of the Agreement abolition, has called into question the survival of the Agreement. The agreement ’survived’ the first nine months of the Tramp administration, but the key moments of his fate appear to be coming soon. We will try to briefly outline the most important events in US and Iran relations, examine the key reasons for the change in policy towards Iran since Donald Tramp’s arrival as US President, and to point out all the obstacles that are on the Donald Tramp’s path to abolishing or at least modifying of the Agreement.
