Summary/Abstract: Apart from monetary instruments, the countercyclical policy uses fiscal instruments among which a significant role is played by the public incomes. The aim of the article is an empirical analysis of the influence exerted by the public incomes upon changes in the economic activity in Poland in the years 2001-2016. The paper consists of an introduction, three parts and a conclusion. The first part presents the analyzed time series and the completed stages of empirical work. The next part discusses morphological features of the business cycles distinguished in Poland’s economy. The final part characterizes properties and time lags in the impact of fiscal income instruments on the business cycles differentiated in Poland.
