Inequalities in an academic discussion and their implications in micro and macro scale

Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to analyze the discussion on inequalities and to show their implications in both micro and macrostructural scales. It raises the issues of inequality presented in theoretical discussion, which is the achievement of representatives of various scientific disciplines. Hence various standpoints address different views on the issue of inequality and often juxtapose to the issues of equality, justice, utility or stratification. Moreover, the existing selected dimensions of inequalities are presented as well as the contemporary approach of inequality in scientific research. Finally, the announced implications for households and the economy are briefly discussed. The paper is of theoretical-empirical character and it aims to identify potential new analytical fields related to inequalities.
