Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the role of aesthetic feelings in the upbringing of a child, the importance of fine art for the emotional and aesthetic development of preschool children. The term “language of fine art” is defined, its features are revealed, accessible for perception to preschool children. The interrelation between the children’s mastering of artistic means of fine arts with the increase in the quality of emotional expressiveness of children’s drawings and, in general, with the development of children’s fine art is proved. It is noted that art can be regarded as a factor in the integration of a child into a cultural space.
