Summary/Abstract: The objects of research in this article are the Holly places – churches, monasteries and chapel, which are part of the heritage of Ponishavieto (the valley of Nishava River) and are situated in the area of the town of Godech and Godech municipality. I clarify the historical differentiation and development of Nisava eparchy. Here are presented the history and the current state of the church “St.Demetrius of Thessaloniki”, the chapel “St. Nicholas” and the monastery “The Holly Spirit”, situated in the town of Godech and the monastery of Bukorovtzi, located on the territory of the village of Bukorovtzi , Godech municipality, Sofia City Province.
