Realization of assumptions of the sustainable development in the context of the low emission economy on the example of the Opolskie voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is an identification of actions taken in the Opolskie voivodeship in the emission economy in the period 2007-2016 and their evaluation in the context of the aspiration to achieving the low-emission economy. It was significant to diagnose what percentage of communities in the Opolskie voivodeship had plans of the low-emission economy which was the basis for the action in this respect as well as what was a percentage of fulfilled projects which main purpose was the thermomodernisation of buildings and investments in renewable energy sources.
