Summary/Abstract: Many manufacturing companies existing on the Polish market, not only from the textile sector, including, for example, the food industry, operate on the basis of a linear organizational structure. The article is based on the thesis that many of them could introduce a matrix structure, which would improve the functioning of the company. Making an attempt to justify such a thesis, a case study is used as illustrative. Consequently, this article became a theoretical-empirical study.
