Summary/Abstract: The present study is to assess the prerequisites and developing directions of realization of the opportunities of land and resource potential of the recreational areas for the sustainable development of tourism and recreational activities. The features of the distribution of land recreational areas, developed a model of the formation of the level of capitalization of land recreational areas, defined milestones to improve the use of land and resource potential of the recreational areas.
